Dunja Deurić
Conductor and musical director
Dunja Deurić was born in Zrenjanin, Serbia, in 1987. She completed the elementary and high music school "Josif Marinković", with two majors - music theory and solo singing, in the class of professor Ana Aleksić Šajrer. As a solo singer she performed in various competitions in the country, awarded with the title of a laureate of the National competition of the solo singers in Belgrade, 2005, the second place at the National competition of the solo singers in Belgrade, 2004, the second place at the III competition of the solo singers in Belgrade "Lazar Jovanović", 2006, etc.
In 2012. she graduated as a music pedagogue from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, ensued by the enrollment in the master programme specialised in the Methods of teaching in the field of musical culture, with the thesis: "Role and application of feature and animated films in teaching musical culture". During the studies, her interests have been focused mainly on choral singing and she colaborated with the Mixed choir of Vojvodina, Vocal studio "Orfelin", church choires "Sveti Georgije" and "Sveti Stefan Dečanski", while also attending the conducting workshop of the choral festival "Europa Cantat" in Torino, 2012. and in Pécs, 2015. She is currently employed as the conductor of the Mixed Choir of The Academic Cultural and Art Society of the University of Novi Sad „Sonja Marinković“, since January 2015.
